Douglas lives in Luxembourg after moving from the Silicon Valley in1986. Since 2010, he has been the Non-Executive Chairman of the FTSE 250 company IWG plc, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace with more than 4,500 locations in over 120 countries. After a career with Arthur Andersen as a partner with international management responsibilities, Douglas worked in several start-ups and was the Chief Financial Officer of Skype from commencement of commercial operations to its sale to eBay. His has served as a board member of several healthcare companies, currently including the parent company of HealthHero, Europe’s largest digital-first clinic. His daughter has Type 1 Diabetes.
Scott is the founder and CEO of Socrates Health Solutions. He has driven the development of Socrates’ proprietary technology solutions for non-invasive glucose monitoring, including research and development, patent filings, and collaboration with technical advisors and global companies. Scott’s extensive healthcare technology experience includes working with emerging organizations developing to profitability and securing opportunities for acquisition and mergers with public companies. He built and led the Global Sales and Marketing organization at MDG Medical, a medication management device and software company. At VISICU, a leading intensive care software firm, Scott was part of the team that completed a successful Initial Public Offering and eventual sale of the firm. Scott’s father had Type 1 Diabetes and he observed the challenges his father had with compliance, living a healthy lifestyle and ultimately dying from the medical complications that resulted from the disease. From this experience a passion was created to make life better for those suffering from diabetes.
Michael is a 15-time Serial Entrepreneur and bestselling author whose companies have created industries and tens of billions of dollars in wealth. Throughout his executive career, Michael has founded and led industry-changing companies, including Internet Global, Teladoc, Palo Duro Records, Principal Solar, Back To Space and Recuro Health. Michael is credited with being one of the pioneer/creators of the telemedicine industry, now approaching a half trillion dollars globally.
Patrick is currently General Counsel for Othram, Inc., a DNA lab that is the leader in forensic genetic genealogy, which is the practice of combining cutting edge DNA testing methods with searches of public databases to identify perpetrators and victims of crimes and then partnering with law enforcement agencies to close previously unsolvable cases. Before joining Othram in 2020, Patrick was General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for Elite Surgical Affiliates, which developed and operated surgical facilities (with a focus on orthopedics, spine, and pain) along with other healthcare business lines. Prior to Elite, Patrick was a senior partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP (now Foley & Lardner LLP) where he managed and closed coast-to-coast and cross-border M&A transactions, advised start-ups, and acted as outside general counsel for multiple healthcare and technology businesses.
