Douglas Sutherland is an American citizen who has lived in Luxembourg since moving there from the Silicon Valley in 1986. Since 2010, Douglas has been the Non-Executive Chairman of IWG plc (formerly Regus plc), the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace with a network of more than 3,000 locations in over 100 countries. After a career as an Arthur Andersen partner with international management responsibilities, Douglas was active in several start-ups including serving as Chief Financial Officer of Skype from commencement of commercial operations to its sale to Ebay. His daughter has Type 1 Diabetes.

In this role, Smith has secured investment capital, recruited a world class Board of Directors, and attracted a stellar executive team. Building on 35+ years of healthcare technology experience, he has driven the development of Socrates’ proprietary technology solutions for non-invasive glucose monitoring, including research and development, international patent filings and approvals, and collaboration with global companies. Scott’s father had Type 1 Diabetes.

Patrick Kinder is currently General Counsel for Othram, Inc. Prior to that, Patrick was Chief Operating Officer for Elite Surgical Affiliates, which develops and operates surgical facilities with a focus on orthopedics, spine, and pain.
Hubert is co-founder, partner and executive director of Health Wildcatters, a Dallas based seed stage healthcare fund and accelerator. Prior to forming Health Wildcatters he was managing director of medical technology at NTEC (North Texas Enterprise Center for Medical Technology.
